The Senior Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive automotive repair experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and Repair: Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics to identify issues accurately and perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments to ensure vehicles meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Technical Excellence: Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and best practices, continuously enhancing technical skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service: Provide clear, professional communication with customers, explaining technical issues and repair options to ensure transparency and build trust.
  • Mentorship and Training: Assist in training and developing junior technicians, offering guidance, support, and feedback to improve team performance.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets Godspeed Tires & Auto Repair's high standards of quality and safety, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing shop supplies and parts inventory to ensure availability and minimize downtime.


Qualifications:

  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
