The Lube and Tire Technician will be responsible for performing essential maintenance services, including oil changes, tire installations, and rotations, ensuring vehicles run smoothly and safely. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oil and Lube Services: Conduct oil and lube services in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring accurate oil level checks and proper filter changes.
  • Tire Maintenance: Perform tire installations, rotations, balancing, and repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
  • Inspection and Reporting: Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify potential issues or maintenance needs, and report findings to senior technicians or service advisors.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, professional customer service, address customer concerns, and explain the services performed.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for coworkers and customers.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
  • Shop Organization: Assist in keeping the facility clean and organized, properly disposing of used materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and parts.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work with a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
